Sound System
Our influences are mainly the English sounds « Roots and Culture» such as the «Mighty Zulu Warrior Jah Shaka», Aba Shanty, Russ Disciples, Iration steppa, Jah Tubby's.
We endeavour to give faithful reproduction of the vibrations and the « Conscious » message that goes with them.
From Roots to steppa music
Our selections consist of :
- The Jamaican 70s, with the “killers steppers and singers” of those times (Channel one, King Tubby’s, Rockers, ...)
- Then, the English producers’music in the 80s, like Jah Shaka, Dennis Bowell, Mad Professor...
- The “UK roots style” with Backyard movement, Inner Sanctuaries records, Conscious Sound, Scoop,Blakamix,...
- The Dubplates coming from our crew, as well as those from England through The Disciples
and Jonah Dan.
